Prowlers are mortal made monsters of war used to hunt down and destroy enemy targets with a violent, Prowlers as the name suggests were built to kill its prey from the shadows, because of this fact Prowlers were built with technological as well as Second Age Magical components which allows to do things even their creators aren’t incapable of. 

Prowlers in nature are nothing but killing machines, as machines that have use for breeding, eating or drinking, however they seem to have developed some kind of sentience as many Beast Hunters and Beastologists have document that Prowlers seem to take a sick and twisted “love for killing, torture and playing with their victims corspe. When all Prowlers were built The Second Age races fitted them with an advanced control chip, this chip made it so The Prowlers would only attack those The Second Age specifical stored into the control chip, however a terrorist by the man of “Jaquil Bern” found The Prowler control centre and release The Prowlers upon the galaxy and against The Collective directly, what made this worse was Jaquil only sort his organsation withing The Prowlers targeting matrix.
