Different Types of Vampires:
Nosferatus
These vampires are a highly evolved rational vampires that are both extremely powerful as well as immortal. In terms of appearance, Nosferatus are often described as “civilized” as they are often dressed in only the finest of clothes and will often combine both their beast form and their disguised form to bring about a more “balanced appearance”. Similar to most other vampires, Nosferatus have a pair of wings that allow them to taker flight, however unlike most vampires these wings can be attracted and retracted when in both their disguised form and their beast form. Since Nosfeatus are so rare and mainly who have attempted to hunt them down never come back there isn’t really a lot of information about them, however one thing that is known is this, whist during the collective age there were a lot of rumours about powerful vampires who were attempting to rebuild the old “Vampire Imperium” the first documented encounter of a Nosferatu wasn’t until the middle of the pantheonic age. While it isn’t truly known where Nosferatus come from that hasn’t stop the galactic community from coming up with their own theories, for example “The High Evolution Theory” says that Nosferatus are simply a product of evolution during the cosmic crusades, “The Runaway God Theory” suggests that Akovire’s death and the release of the god virus may have been the cause of their creation, and “The Mattenhawk Theory” suggests that Nosferatus are Vortexons that have simply subjugated the vampire race and now rules it as their masters.
Bloodhounds
More commonly known as, “Vampiric Hounds” play a similar role in vampire society as Kanattoowats as they often raised by a vampiric brood but are often loyal to a single monster. In terms of appearance, Blood Hounds highly resemble normal hounds with fur, hind legs and a tail, however the changes come in the form of a row of vampire fangs placed just to the side of their mouths and their constantly glowing red eyes. A fact that many find surprising this the actual danger of a Blood Hound, unlike most vampires, a Blood Hounds greatest strength is in it’s senses as it can track a victim who has flee up to 100 miles away. Finally Blood Hounds who don’t belong to a brood are normally found roaming mountains, forests and other places you may find wolves or wild hounds, however they aren’t to be taken lightly as they will kill anything and everything within the area in which they inhabit, best to let a skilled beast hunter deal with them.
Vjesci
Draculas
Strigos
Sasabonsams
These vampires are horrific vampires that stalk their prey from higher ground and kill them in such a way that leaves no trace of them left. In terms of appearance, Sasabonsams are extremely skinny, so much so that they are often mistaken for wendigos, unfortunately this confusion is often deadly as both beasts share only their love for mortal flesh. Additionally Sasabonsams possess extremely long razor sharp claws that are used to cut, slice and tear anything that stands in their way, in practices only Deusium has proven to withstand that might of these “hot iron” claws. Mainly, Sasabonsams are found with deep and dense forest or jungles areas as they used the trees to stalk their prey, then they will anchor their feet into the tree branches and hang from it in a similar way to a bat, finally it will sink it’s teeth and claws into their victim with the only trace of them left being a few loud torment screams with not obvious source.
These are a rare type of a vampire that can no longer be created, and due to their unique creation they are sterile. In terms of appearance, Draculas resemble regular mortals with the only differences being pointed ears, vampire fangs and red eyes. Their creation was by Venucca, God of Vampires who during The Administration Age led his brood to attack and kill the town of “Onrdon” on the planet Morgoth. The God of Vampires somehow managed to creation a virus that would allow anyone bitten by one of his brood to become a vampire, though either due to a lack of ambition or inability, Venucca’s creations were simply hybrids and possess no other vampiric trait other then the few mentioned above. In the modern age, Draculas are rarely heard about to the point where most simply consider them to be legends, I myself however know that the few that live have done so through great and painful sacrifices.
Blutsauger
These are massive bipedal vampiric creatures that are some kind of “Alpha Male” among the vampire race as the majority of vampires will never challenge them and give up anything that The Blutsauger wants. In terms of appearance Blutsaugers are terrifying, standing anywhere between 25ft to 45ft tall with dark grey skin, numerous veins protruding through their tight skin, crimson flesh wings that are said to hold their victims screams within them, and a face that is nothing apart from a large toothed mouth with hundreds are sharp vampiric fangs. As mentioned before Blutsaugers are seen as some form of alpha male in the vampire race however it may go a bit deeper then that, see Blutsaugers have only been read about in many vampiric occult tomes where they are described as “The Vampiric Predator that will be at the forefront of The Righteous Bloodshed” suggesting they are some kind of holy warrior, because of this many vampire cults have tried to summon a Blutsauger into the physical realms and there was even one Nosferatu who tried to ascend into a Blutsauger which begs the questions, Can a regular vampire become a Blutsauger? and Where do Blutsaugers originate from?.
Castle Guards
These vampires are unbelievably savage and feral vampires that are feared not only for their ferocity but also their ability to appear and disappear in the blink of an eye. In terms of appearance, Strigos are hunched bipedal vampires that are completely devoid of the intelligence and tactical thinking that most of their race have, but they make up for that with their raw strength, endurance and unusually fast movements, as a final point their faces are sunken, with their skin pulled tightly around the skull and their mouths being unable to be fully closed due to the large amount of teeth and their deformed gums. Uniquely, most rational vampires utterly detest Strigos because of their furiously savage nature and as a result they are rarely ever welcomed into Vampiric Broods.
Kanattoowats
More commonly known as “Spider Vampires” are 6 legged furry vampiric creatures that mainly serve as pets or guards for whichever vampiric brood happened to raise them. in terms of appearance, Kanattoowats appear like a cross between a Strigo and an Arachnid, while their bottom half looks similar to that of a spider with it also contain the abilities to produce webbing, their top half appears similar to a Strigo with the pale complexion and the high amount of muscle mass. Additionally instead of having fangs like most vampires, Kanattoowats possess pincers which are used in place of fangs to suck a body dry of blood, but instead of biting the neck, Kanattoowats will instead use their tongues to pierce the victims skull and proceed to drain their blood that way.
Reavers
These are vampiric scavengers that are considered to be the weakest of the vampire race. In terms of appearance, Reavers are often skinny with a pair of wings, grey skin and they often only stand at around 4ft. Additionally Reavers possess a pair of dagger like pincers on the corner of their mouths which they use to rip out the throats of those they kill and consume their blood. As mentioned before Reavers are scavengers, what this means is that they will often kills those who are dying, weak or too young to fight back. During an attack, a Reaver will utilise the shadows and it’s wings to consume it’s prey instead of actually fighting them, in addition with a brood they will most often “clean up” those who the other vampires have missed. When not within a brood, Reavers can typically be found in caves or any number of damp dark dwellings, within these cavers they will often lure prey be it mortal or beast and feed on them in peace.
Primus Sangius
These vampires are supposedly the very first vampires to appear in the galaxy with their name translating to literally mean “First Blood”. In terms of appearance, Primus Sangius are said to stand at over 14ft tall with their skin being a mixture of black and grey with the only other form of colour being the fresh crimson blood around their mouths and claws, these vampires also had massive spiked horns located at the top of their heads with some even having a faint stain of crimson, in addition they also possessed massive armoured wings that they would used to take flight faster then most living beings can blink. Unfortunately there is very little evidence to suggest that these vampires are still present within the galaxy, the only proof of their existence at all is an ancient scroll believed to have been penned by a Stygian during some kind of ancient galactic war; a partially translated section of the scroll reads, “And then they arrived, through a hole in space made of blood, they flew against the stars and began feeding upon my brothers, sisters and even our slaves, they drank their blood and roared upon at the stars as they killed their prey. They were drenched in shadow, had the speed of light itself and possessed no mercy or curiosity behind their dead eyes, the only think present was the need to feed”.
Vampriests
These vampires are highly regarded in the vampire community to the point that they are seen as a some kind of mother figures to all other vampires. Their appearance has both confused and intrigued those who have a need to discover the undiscovered, the main reason is because their appearance is often a lot more “civilised” as they don’t possess large fangs, bloodied limbs or rodent like bodies, instead they appear in a crimson red dress that covers their bottom half while their flesh wings are wrapped around their top half making them looked very elegant indeed. Unlike most of the vampire race that stalks the night looking for prey to drain of their blood, Vampriests are said to simply walk the halls of their castles within “The Sea of Blood” as they order other vampires to do their bidding, but there are those that believe that Vampriests are simply carry out the will of another being that no one dares speak of.
