Biography:
Entity 1 is a 6ft tall humanoid being of unknown age, race and origin. Entity 1 is dressed in a well maintained black and yellow suit with a medium sized fedora adoring it’s head, both of which seem to be “forcefully bound” to it’s skin by either itself or some unknown third party. Entity 1’s appearance is alarming for numerous reasons; first of all it’s skin seems to drift from a pale white and a “decaying blue” colour, so far we have found no concrete reason for this occurrence nor a biological reason as it why it even occurs. Second, it’s eyes are filled with burst blood vessels and are so bloodshot that Entity 1’s tears have a similar consistency and colour to normal human blood, in addition it appears that Entity 1 is either unwilling or simply unable to blink which means every so often Entity 1’s eyes will become watery. Finally, it’s smile is stretched to a completely horrific and “inhuman” grin which appears to have caused significant muscle, skin and cell damage, in addition while smiling Entity 1’s mouth will slightly enlarge as more teeth will just seemingly appear while Entity 1 smiles.
Entity 1 has been research and categorized by The Department of Disease and Virus Containment as an “Infection Spreader” due to it’s ability to infect individuals with a cognitive virus named “The Smile Virus”, said Smile Virus can be broken up into 3 main stages and they are “The Passing Stage”, “The Daily Stage” and finally “The Grinning Stage”. During The Passing Stage an infected individual will begin to see Entity 1 occasionally, typically while waiting for someone or something, however during the course of around 6 months to a year they will begin to see Entity 1 more and more frequently eventually bleeding into their everyday life. Moving on, The Daily Stage begins when an infected individual begins to see their friends, work colleagues and family twisting their heads and grinning widely at them to the point that their skin tears, this will continue until everyone the infected person is close to is grinning with them unable to escape or avoid the influence Entity 1 has on them. Finally The Grinning Stage is where all the infected individual’s friends and family become horrifically violent as they become feral and crawl like animals towards the infected individual, during this stage the infected individual will constantly see an intense mental image of Entity 1 as it slowly grins to the point where it’s skin rips, it’s eyes become inhumanly wide and it’s face becomes monstrously deformed. At some point during The Grinning Stage, the infected individual will be held down by those closet to them and Entity 1 will crave a smile upon their face, at that point the infected individual as well as Entity 1 will simply disappear and life will continue as if the infected individual never existed.
Currently we have found no way to prevent, prolong or cure The Smile Virus.
Information:
Entity 1 was first brought to our attention when an suspiciously large number of extra-galactic particles also known as EGP were detected around the predominantly human college known as “The House of Solomon”. Drones were sent into survey the area but unfortunately they were only able to confirm the presence of the extra-galactic particles, so an agent by the name of Anna Winters was deployed to undertake an undercover exploration.
For the first few months Anna reported nothing that was outwardly paranormal in nature, however she did often mention that students in her class as well as around the collage as a whole would simply disappear and no evidence could be found about there existence. At first Anna tries to write this off as typical behavior since it is common for students to become disinterested in their chosen subject, however as the months go on she begins to believe there is a connection between the large amount of EGP as well as the missing students.
After an additional 5 months Anna reports that nearly 185 students have disappeared in the last 2 years with no one remembering these missing persons. While this information would become useful later Anna isn’t clear on where she got this critical information from and when asked where she got the information from, Anna seemingly ignores the question saying “How do you think I go it?”. Additionally as her exploration approaches 7 months, Anna begins reporting seeing a “creepy business man” within her day to day life as well as complains that her classmate and even her tutor keep grinning at her when they think she isn’t looking.
After a further 2 months and Anna reports that everyone in the college including the tutors and security have been looking at her with a “stomach turning grin” and has requested the aid of The Institution as she fears her life may be in danger. While her request was respected and considered it was ultimately denied, the reason being is because to end the undercover exploration would: A possible alert a potential threat and B could result in further loss of life.
Finally after another week, Anna is completely hysterical and clearly consumed with fear as she contacts our organisation claiming that, “They are all out to get me, the students, the security, the tutors and even the stray dogs, their grins are horrific and I can’t escape them, I can’t even escape the grins in my mind”. Eventually permission to deployed T.A.N.K agents was granted, but it was too late as Anna Winter had been “claimed” by Entity 1 and had a permanent grin fixed upon her face, while Entity 1 was contained by T.A.N.K Agents, unfortunately they had to put down Miss Winters.
Containment:
Entity 1 isn’t particularly animate and doesn’t often move from it static position starring at itself in the one way mirror that covers it’s cell. Although Entity 1 doesn’t eat, drink or breathe, it does regularly defecate requiring it’s cell to be clean once every week by automatons, in addition on occasion the automatons assigned to clean Entity 1’s cell must be decommissioned as there is a 27.89% chance of them contracting The Smile Virus, further research into how and why this is possible is being undertaken.
In the case of a containment breach, automatic laser turrets have been place in and around the cell which are specifically wired to only fire upon Entity 1, in addition a pool of molten lava is placed directly beneath the cell which will serve to completely melt Entity 1 in case of a containment breach.
Interestingly Entity 1 has been heard speaking a few words over the last few months with them being “want”, “hurt”, “pain”, “boy”, “Lucas”, “deal” and “why?”. I have submitted an interview request that is still pending.
