Biography:
Entity 7 is a 15ft tall bipedal bird-like insectoid creature with 2 glowing red eyes and a dagger sharp beak. Instead of arms, Entity 7 possess 2 massive wing like appendages accompanied with 3 fingers on each appendage not unlike bats, in addition Entity 7’s wings have a wingspan of up to 6ft long allowing it to achieve great speeds in a short amount of time. While Entity 7 appears to have a great deal of intelligence, it notably cannot speak and utilizes a force similar to our own psychokinetics, the ability in question is referred to as “The Way” and works by producing symbols based on the thoughts and feelings of Entity 7, however it is worth noting that it took a lot of time, effort and cooperation with Entity 7 in order form a rough way of communicating. Additionally in Entity 7’s own words, “I am one of only a few to have mastered the way, For I can converse like a common peasant but also paint pictures like those of memories and dreams, it is unfortunately then they no one in this place will be able to truly recognize the beauty I can portrait”, this refers to Entity 7’s ability to “grant” certain individuals with visualized memories and experiences, so far it appears that Entity 7 can only do this with “Cyberbreds”.
Information:
Entity 7 was first brought to our attention when a space marine squad called “The Blood Dragons” operating within The Untamed Sector of space reported being attacked by a “giant ass bird thing”, shortly after this report was sent out The Blood Dragon’s emergency signal beacon was activated and one of The Blood Dragons was requesting aid, below is the full transcript.
“This is Captain Edwin Valdez of The Blood Dragon’s 2nd Unit, I am requesting an immediate evacuation from our location, my unit has come under attack by a hostile alien force. (Screams of pain), everyone of my squad is dead. Please, if the golden king has any mercy he will recuse me from this nightma……. (Sounds of Tearing meat and terrified screams)”. End of Transcript.
After utilising a contact with The Space Marines, we quickly learned of Captain Valdez’s mission as well as where the emergency signal originated from, the planet of “Byyekk” mainly known for it’s glowing and colour neon flora and wildlife. After reviewing the audio as well as going Captain Valdez’s 2nd unit dossier, it was determined that a small team of Collectors would be send in to fight, defeat and capture Entity 7.
When The Collectors eventually arrived on Byyekk they were immediately greeted with the smell of rot, decay and dried blood, and upon exiting their ship they could see the numerous torn corpses of The Blood Dragons as well as some local wildlife. Examination of the corpses revealed numerous sharp claw marks, a single deep gash in the upper neck region as well as numerous limbs missing from each of the corpses, in addition while much of their blood was filled a significant amount had seemingly been drunk or drained, while at first the idea of “Nosferatu” was proposed, one of the collectors quickly dismissed this as he claimed, “Vampire’s would have hidden the corpses to feed on later, plus these are beak marks not bite marks”.
After around 2 hours of surveying and exploring the area, the collectors began following a “trail of body parts” towards a darkened cave with rotted meat, cracked bones and stained dry blood spread around the entrance, in addition the collectors reported hearing a loud yet strangely silent skwark coming from inside the cave. Using their night vision equipment the collectors surmised the weight, height and width of the creature and worked to formulate a plan, one of the agents would throw a small fragmentation grenade into the cave while the other 2 would stand either side of the cave entrance. As soon as the grenade was thrown Entity 7 shot out of the cave and began delivering violent and eventually lethal attacks to one of the collectors, the other 2 managed to get in behind it with one of them putting Entity 7 into a head lock while the other repeatedly delivered non lethal stabs and punches to it’s face, chest and lower torso, finally the 2 remaining collectors managed to defeat and capture Entity 7, but one of the collectors lost his left arm and the other lost the vision in his right eye.
Containment:
Entity 7’s containment is fairly simple but hard to fully maintain as Entity 7 had a lot of physical strength. Entity 7 is primarily kept within a large containment cell which is made out of hardened glass and an extremely strong as well as heavy hybrid metal material, this is because Entity 7 will sometimes enter “Blood Rages” where it will attempt to find the nearest living being, kill it and consume it’s meat and blood, to combat this Entity 7 is regularly fed at least 4 times a day with it’s food mainly consisting of blood, meat and bones. When not in a Blood Rage Entity 7 is often seen meditating, reading and drawing various symbols of it’s own universe, in addition many of the agents, researchers and other staff have described Entity 7 as “respectful”, “Stoic”, “Silent” and “Knowledgeable”. In case of a containment breach due to a blood rage above Entity 7’s cell is a massive tank filled with blood, meat, flesh and bones, in the case of a non blood rage related containment breach a turret armed with high electrification bullets is place at the front of the cells door, in addition 2 collectors are also on stand to deal with Entity 7 in case of a containment breach.
Interview Report:
Since Entity 7 has displayed a wide range of intelligence and communication has been established a request has been put forward to interview Entity 7 which has been accepted. Below are the questions Entity 7 was asked as well as the responses that it gave.
What is your name? My name is Alka, known as The 45th Vicar of The Covenant and explorer of The Deep Darkness. I am my father’s son, an individual of great respect and blessed with a exploratory need to uncover truths many are too terrified to seek. My role as a Vicar was not dissimilar to my father’s and my fathers father’s, however as my years lengthen and my beak began to turn grey, I began doubt my faith in our people and my faith in The Covenant.
Where are you from? I am from a place that was woven within the very fabric of creation, in your tongue you would called it “The Ark” as it is said to lead us to a great eden, or so says The Covenant. The Ark is everything, it is a home, a store, a forest, a lake, it is everything all at once, however it is also being improved as more and more layers are constantly woven through it.
Who or What is The Covenant? We are The Covenant, we are the shepherds of our own destiny and The Covenant is a common ideal that allows us to stay on the path and not be consumed by The Deep Darkness. While my faith in The Covenant has waiver in recent cycles, it still holds a place in my heart as the people that lay within it are more important than the ideal itself.
Why do you enter Blood Rages? It was a curse placed upon our people long ago. Back before The Covenant and The Ark, We were at war with “The Shapunyasza” a great and terrible foe that threaten to starve our stars and eat our young. To combat The Shapunyasza we began to prey to forbidden entities from behind the lights reach, they bestowed us with a great and evil rage that allowed us to slaughter and consume The Shapunyasza. Unfortunately by accepting “The Forbidden One’s” gift we unknowingly provided a door way into our home, know what once aided us in hurting our greatest predator has exposed to an even worse one.
What is The Deep Darkness? Everything, all once it was fully of light, but no more. Many think The Deep Darkness was born because The Shapunyasza fed to hard on the walls of creation, or The Nioop’s ascended too far beyond, but after reading all the secrets of The Covenant, I believe it was my people when they prey to The Forbidden One’s for aid.
Who are The Forbidden One’s? They are servants of The Deep Darkness, they were born without light or spirit, they are empty, hollow, the only thing that fills them is Pain.
How did you end up here? That is a question I am still seeking the answer to. The last thing my mind recalls is the eyes of my son as I tucked him in after learning of the secrets covenant tried to hide, he said “Will Covenant save us from The Deep Darkness papa?”, I am ashamed to say it but, I misled him and filled him with words of comfort and warmth instead of the cold truth.
