The Humans

The Humans were once a simple slave race used by The Collective, The Pantheon and The Administration as tools for their endless wars, however Humans have gained a reputation within the wider galactic community for their “determination” as well as for their ability to fight even when the odds are against them.

Information:

The galaxy was first introduced to The Humans when a large number of their “hibernation ships” flew into a great space battle between The First Age and Second Age races. While The First Age races simply ignored them, The Second Age races decided to board the wrecked ships and when they found this new race they began chaining them up and loading them onto their ships, as a result a race that was simply trying to escape their doom were thrust into a war by races they didn’t understand. While all other races celebrated the end of The Wars of Magic and Science, The Humans remained chained and at the mercy of the rest of the galaxy, and while they were briefly a mighty race when they were led by “The Majesty of Man”, they suffered the ultimate defeat upon his death at Akovire’s hands. As for The Administration, they treated Humans like raw material and refer to them as “The Glue” due to the fact that their DNA can bond and stick to anything.

In terms of appearance, Humans are soft skinned bipedals that can stand between 4ft-6ft tall. Unlike most races, Humans have very soft skin, so soft that almost any melee weapon or simple physical attack can cause bruising, bleeding and even internal damage. Additionally Humans have knees which allows for much more flexible movements, and although humans may take more damage, many are capable of traversing rough terrain, communing with nature and interestingly have an easier time befriending beasts and wildlife. Finally, Humans are often nicknamed “Chimps” “Monkeys” or “Apes”, this is due to their strong resemblance internally and externally to “The Hominids” as well as other primates, and while some consider this to be simple playful banter, others consider this to be an offensive slur.

In the modern age, The Humans are often mocked because they “lost” their homeworld of Earth as well as their star system, however with “The Federation of Mankind” organizing the large majority of Human Worlds, The Humans have managed to carve out a mighty empire for themselves and they in fact have the 3rd largest fleet in The Unity Council with them being behind The Primes and The Rogtons.
