The Gellatalians
The Gellatalians are a race composed of an energy producing substance that is useful for powering devices, healing injuries and even projectile based attacks, unfortunately despite their power they were unable to escape from The Administration’s grasp.
Information:
The galaxy was first introduced to The Gellatalians when "The Maserus Fleet” came upon their homeworld of “Keggle”. From the fleet’s observations, The Gellatalians acted as some form of healing agent for the planet as they were seen flocking to sites of damage and repairing them, one agent was quoted as saying “They’re like the planet’s immune system”, in addition some Gellatalians were also observed latching onto dangerous predators and turning them into Gellatalians. The fleet’s first attempt to capture The Gellatalians ended horribly with all but 1 administration guard surviving the attempt, the guard was quoted as saying “you can’t shoot them, beat them, grab them or capture them, they just make more of themselves”, this enraged Dictator Helm Atula so much he personally beat the only surviving guard to death. Eventually however, The Maserus Fleet managed to use an experimental E.A.C teleportation device in order to teleport all Gellatalians to an extremely durable and frightening facility where the races identity would be changed forever.
In terms of appearance, Natural Gellatalians resemble puddles of glowing goo that are able to move, stretch and express emotions, unfortunately when The Administration got a hold of them, The Gellatalians were experimented on and forced into multiple different forms that caused an everlasting pain. At first they were simply fashioned into energy providing devices called “Gell-Cells” which could be used to power streets, houses and even certain energy weapons, in addition Gell-Cells were created by cutting off a piece of a Gellatalian and placing it in a small case. Another form was “Medgel” which is a fast acting healing agent that could heal anything from deep cuts to cancerous tumors, interestingly The Administration kept this a secret from their corporate “allies”. Finally there were “sludge-guns” which were developed by The Castell Corporation on The Administration orders, while they were commercially available, The Administration were supplied with sludge-guns at 75% power while the public could purchase them at only 15% power.
Within the modern age, The Gellatalians aren’t all that present as the majority disappeared from public perception after The Galactic Administration was destroyed, but one can still find their numerous forms being utilized all over the galaxy even if it is an “ethically questionable choice”.
