The Jummunga
The Jummunga were a race that many believed had great potential to be a widespread member of the galactic community, however due to early Administration intervention their potential was quickly diverted and their future changed.
Information:
The Jummunga were one of the first races found during The Administrative Crusades by Dictator “Helm Atula” who was in charge of “The Maserus Fleet”. When The Maserus Fleet arrived on The Jummunga homeworld of “Yufgotnee” they immediately began ushering all The Jummunga they could find onto their ships, this was because early observations had seen The Jummunga’s kind and servant like nature and Atula wanted to harness it for The Administration. When the bulk of The Jummunga were delivered back to The Administrative sector they were all fitted with experimental cybernetic arms to compensate for their lack of arms, and they were placed within key locations to act as servants, caretakers and security if necessary. Additionally while most Jummunga are able to understand basic commands like stay, clean, watch and attack, ultimately The Jummunga had and still have no way of verbally communicating what they are feeling, this can often lead to Jummungas getting stressed with their anxiety levels dramatically rising, additionally during The Administration Age it wasn’t uncommon for a Jummunga’s stress to cause either their own death or their owners.
In terms of appearance, The Jummunga are extremely hairy bipedals that can stand anywhere from 4ft-6ft tall. As mentioned above, Natural Jummunga do not possess arms and instead utilise their hard skulls and quick agility to survive, however modern day Jummunga instead use their “Gene-Locked augmentations” in order to perform and complete tasks. Interestingly their hair seems to have once been used to store water, protect against hazardous sunlight and even as a form of light armour, unfortunately modern day Jummunga have thin hair now due The Administration’s horrific concoction of drugs, experiments and harsh torture. Finally while they unwillingly served The Administration, many Jummunga developed a skin mutation caused by The Administration’s artificial “So-Lar” lighting technology, as a result “The So-Lar Mutation” causes the skin to crack and bleed which soon leads to infection and then death.
In the modern age, The Jummunga served The Unity Council and are kept as “housekeepers” within certain parts of Fulcrum. It is worth noting that The Unity Council did try to integrate The Jummunga back into Yufgotnee’s environment, unfortunately too much time had passed and The Jummunga could no longer survive in the wild. Fortunately The C.P.S is working on utilising psychokinetics in order to adapt U.L.T’s so that communication with The Jummunga is possible.
