The Oxicontinals
The Oxicontinals are an extremely primitive yet surprisingly advanced race that are currently evolving on The Timisha’s homeworld of Novic, while this primitive race probably isn’t even aware of the wider galaxy, they have managed to peak interest across the galaxy.
Information:
The Oxicontinals were first brought to the galaxy’s attention during the late Unity Age when a Timisha satellite orbiting Novic captured footage of them on the long abandoned continent of “Sagarnan”. After some low level investigation it became apparent that these Oxicontinals were primitively advanced as they were seen utilising tools, weapons, fire and even some magics, in addition the investigation also uncovered that The Oxicontinals also understood symbolism as some of them were seen with tattoos and piercings which seemed to indicate certain responsibilities as well as roles. Interestingly their society was also advanced for a primitive race as they were ruled by 2 elders, one of which handled the gathering of food, hunting and collecting other resources, and the other handled the building of communities, the preparation of food and keeping everything in the community running.
In terms of appearance, The Oxicontinals are scaly lizard-like bipedals that can stand up to 12ft-14ft tall. Their skin is notably not that much different from a typical lizards, however their entire skin acts as one massive lung that captures the air from around it through the use of billions of tiny pores, in short the air makes it’s way around the body without the need for The Oxicontinal to physically breathe. Interestingly Oxicontinals don’t possess an “anus”, instead all waste is stored in a gland just behind their nostrils, then when an Oxicontinal is ready they will then “defecate” through their nostrils. Additionally all Oxicontinals possess a long thick boned tail, said tail is often used as a weapon to either knock back, trip up or in some cases outright kill them their enemies. Finally it is worth noting that The Oxicontinals grow a series of spikes on the back of their heads, while this would usually be a “mundane” thing The Oxicontinals relate these spikes to strength, power and respect, in short whoever has the biggest horns is usually seen as the strongest.
In the modern age, The Oxicontinals aren’t really a huge presence within the galactic community, although from reports gathered by The Conclave The Oxicontinals have started to develop philosophy, literature and an intelligent language format.
