Brecilians

Brecilians are the halfling race created between The Ta-Og and The Rogtons. As a race The Brecilians embody the violently savage curse of The Ta-Og, as well as the honourable stoicism of The Rogtons.

While the exact point of their creation isn’t known, The Brecilians are one of the oldest Halfling races in the galaxy as they have been present since before The Collective was even formed as they were used a slave warriors by The Ta-Og and completely detested by The Rogtons. One thing we do know about The Brecilians is how they came to be and I have to say it’s not a nice beginning, from documents and scrolls that have been found from “The Wars of Magic and Science” it is believed that The Brecilians were created through “forced efforts” from Ta-Og soldiers and Rogton slaves they had captured, this is further backed up by The Rogtons past hatred of The Brecilians often referring to them as “Albeed Nanadu” which translates to “Offspring of Evil”.

In terms of appearance, The Brecilians heavily resemble Rogtons with their hind legs, fur covered bodies, long snouts and their sharp canines, however owing to their Ta-Og heritage they also have an extremely high muscle mass and horns adorning each side of their head, but they also heritage a deadly trait from The Ta-Og, their mark of blood curse. While not as severe as pureblood Ta-Og, Brecilians still can unleash a powerful and hard to control rage when the curse takes a hold of them easily causing massive amounts of destruction and even the deaths of innocents. Interestingly many Brecilians seen in the modern galaxy have seemingly learned how to temper and control their curse with some out right being able to unleash the curse upon command, this is interesting and proves somewhat that there may be some type of cure for the mark of blood curse.

In the modern galaxy, The Brecilians aren’t really present within the galactic community save for the few with wanderlust and need to explore the vast reaches of our universe. Instead The Brecilians race mainly sticks to their homeworld of “Brecila”, a lush forest world that was given to them by The Unity Council and a planet The Brecilians have turned into a fortified paradise, in addition Brecilians have been seen expanding out of Brecila and colonised the various planets and moons of their system, could this be the start of their journey into the wider galactic community?
