Psychokinetics is a universal force that utilises the power of the mind in order to accomplish amazing and some would say impossible objectives, however there are those who claim psychokinetics is too powerful to be fully controlled

In actuality psychokinetics has been around a lot longer then it’s original discovery and proven existence during The Unity Age with the most famous example of this being the ancient Deep Folk, however there are other examples like “The Ruins of Lahana”, “The Melted Skull Mountains” and “The Screaming Trees” that to suggest some psychokinetic involvement.
In detail psychokinetics at it’s lowest level usually involves being able to read the thoughts of people around you, influencing the physical world without physical interaction and being able to lucid dream through very little effort. At the medium level a psyker will also be able to invade a person’s mind and even fully take over the person’s body, relive entire memories within seconds, keep a photographic memory, learn skills through reading them from someone else’s mind and even mentally communicate with animals just to name a few. At the highest level a psyker will be able to construct various objects through pure mental force, project their consciousness across the galaxy, bring certain dreams, thoughts and ideas into the physical realm, mentally control large groups of beings and even elevate their mind to a higher plain of thought. Finally a good thing to keep in mind is that the higher someone’s psychokinetic energy is the more fragile they are as a person and the more likely it is for them to develop various mental illness, the thought behind this is that even though they are capable of great feats, mortals were never meant to be able to achieve these things and because of this our brains simply can’t handle it.
While psychokinetics is a dangerous thing that many think needs to be discarded or at the very least “selectively controlled”, it has also help in a number of ways such as long range communication, the curing or dampening of various mental illnesses and has had it uses in combat. Due to how useful psychokinetics can be, organisations like “The School for The Gifted” and The Unity Council funded “Psychokinetic Institution of Learning” or P.I.L have devoted numerous resources into researching psychokinetics and had to slowly integrate it into galactic society so that it may been viewed as a “tool for the betterment of mortals big and small”.
Different Psychokinetic Abilities:
1.Slip-Dreams- is an ability that allows a psyker to enter an individuals dreams while they are asleep. While in an individuals dream the psyker will be completely lucid and have free range to explore all the individuals dream has to offer, but they will be noticed by certain dream entities some friendly and some not as much. When an individual awakes from a dream, the psyker will snap back into their physical body often causing an intense headache, slight vertigo and possibly a mild concussion.
2.We Are Legion- is an ability that allows a psyker to split their consciousness into multiple pieces which are then placed within multiple different living organisms. The ability essentially allows a psyker to clone themselves as each individual that holds a piece of the psyker’s consciousness becomes a part of the psyker’s influence, even if the psyker’s original body dies they will be able to continue living as one of the individual’s they have controlled will become the new host. Unfortunately this ability is highly unstable as the psyker as well as their drones have been known to develop numerous mental health issues, become violently insane or simply explode in a wide burst of psychokinetic light.
3.A Kind Clean Mind- is an ability that allows a psyker to resolve trauma, delete entire memories as well as fantasies, and even the alternation of personalities. It is important to note that within the modern age this ability is used by psyker therapists to completely resolve and even erase surface level trauma, unfortunately at the moment this ability is only able to temporally deal with more deep rooted trauma like child abuse, sexual abuse and PTSD, however P.I.L have been the one’s pushing for the advancement and refinement of this ability.
4.Psychokinetic Transference- is an ability that allows a psyker to fully overtake a living beings body and affectively replace them as the host of said body. This ability is most famously used by dying psykers as a way to prolong their life and cheat death by latching onto the nearest available mind, while the ability sounds amazing it is actually extremely dangerous as it is only the psykers mind that is transfer not their spirit or their soul, this leads to something known as a “Psychotronic breakdown” which has the psyker’s and the previous hosts memories, personalities as well as the previous host’s spirit and soul being blended together where 2 things will happen; the first is the psyker will recover from the breakdown with minor personality changes, memories being fuzzy and a new spirit and soul, the second the psyker’s bones will begin to melt and they will deform into a barely put together beast known as a “Psychotron”.
