The Denvorians

The Denvorians were once considered to be the most advanced first age race in the galaxy as they put aside their petty conflicts and instead put all their energy into advancing their race.

Information:

Before The Wars of Magic and Science, The Denvorians were the most magically gifted out of all the first age races, while The Rogtons warred with one another and The Kabane built Arkana, The Denvorians had already colonized their star system. When they found the other first age races it was clear that despite The Denvorians overly peaceful nature, the magical power they possessed easily made them extremely dangerous to the other first age races. It is noted in a lot of historical documents that the other first age races had nothing but respect and love for The Denvorians, with even The Tree Folk Hivemind claiming them to be “the most mysterious of mortals”.

During The Wars of Magic and Science, The Denvorians reluctantly aided the first age races in their war against the second age races, however they utterly refused to kill and only provided healing and repairs. Eventually The Denvorians had enough of seeing trillions of innocent individuals die, so they contacted the second age races and proposed a parley of peace, when they arrived the two sides talked but ultimately failed to get anywhere, then suddenly the entire race of Denvorians were systematically shocked and kidnapped. While it isn’t known how or why the second age races did what they did, what is known is the final result, that being The Denvorians, a once brave, powerful and knowledgeable race had been forcefully transformed, mutated and mutilated into horrific monsters that would be used as powerful killing machines by the second age races.

After The Wars of Magic and Science, The Denvorians haven’t really been seen, while a small army launched a long and painful war against The Collective, and years later The Galactic Administration came into contact with a few during “The Administrative Crusades”, The Denvorians have made little to no impact on the galaxy in the last 3,000 years. Additionally many of the younger generation considered The Denvorians to be nothing but a long forgotten myth that through inaccuracy blended with history.

Finally long before The Wars of Magic and Science and even before the first age races, The Denvorians received a prophecy that is now believed to have outline what happened to their race. The Prophecy went; “A king will die. A tyrant will rise. Creativity will burn and order will be it’s ashes. Monsters will be made. Monsters will fall, What was once on a leash. Will soon return”.

Different Types of Denvorians:

  1. The Pepercite- are Denvorians that weren’t subjected to the horrific experiments by the second age races. Unfortunately it is believed that there are only a few hundred of these Denvorians present within the galaxy, worse still there are only 3 documented sightings of these Denvorians over the last 3,000 years. In terms of appearance, The Pepercite appear as 8ft tall bipedels covered in “light blending” metallic scales, they possess 2 legs and 3 arms with one present attached to it’s lower back, in addition these Denvorians are able to “glide on the air” instead of actually moving their legs. Finally if The Denvorians “outlandish” history history is to be believed, then it is quite possible that The Pepercite are the most powerful magic users in the entire galaxy, possibly even surpassing The Orders of Beskella.

  2. The Maledictus- are Denvorians that were subject to the horrific experiments by the second age races and were forever changed because of them. Transformed into horrifically mutated monsters and their minds being driven insane due to the experiments, The Maledictus are little more then destroyers as seen during “The War of The Vile Breaking” when a large number of them invaded collective space and began mindlessly ripping, eating, taring and otherwise destroying every living thing around them. In terms of appearance, The Maledictus appear as hunched insectoids with “barely finished” skin, cracked flesh and a light green liquid (believed to be blood) constantly leaking from their bodies, in addition their eyes appear to be completely blank aside from a small crimson dot which gives them an even more terrifying appearance.
