The Rogtons
The Rogtons are considered to be the bravest warriors the galaxy has to offer, to the point where even the weakest Rogton warrior could beat the best warrior of any other race.
Information:
One of the most famous staples of The Rogton’s society is their strict religion known as “Quo”. Quo itself is filled with very stoic ideologies like not showing emotions, never truly relying on anyone or anything, as well as treating those they come across with kindness and wisdom. To expand on Quo, it also focuses on an individual being the best version of themselves possible no matter what the cost is, or in fact the opinions others hold of you, in addition Quo also prevents Rogtons from engaging in certain activities like drinking alcohol, using drugs and having sex before marriage. The “Self Improvement” side of Quo is mainly taught through 3 areas; the first is Consistency as the more your do something the better you will become at it, the second is Productivity as the more you do the more you will eventually master, and the third is Loyalty as it can be a light when you are covered in complete darkness.
In terms of appearance, The Rogtons have similarities to many types of hounds and they possess almost all of their traits, such as small snouts, kanines and a thick layer of fur. Despite wide spread misinformation, Rogtons don’t possess any power, control or advantage over hounds, in addition Rogtons prefer to train and use other beasts like Pinky-Dinks, Dragons, and even certain spectres like Isamoths, Vampires and Charlavons. Finally a Rogton’s lifespan is a fairly short one as they only live around 60-80 years, however despite this many Rogtons remain physically capable until the day they die.
As mentioned previously, The Rogton’s society is built upon the strict religion of Quo. To summarize Quo is based around an extremely powerful deity called “Hapoetai, The Vanguard of Needless Mistakes”, who is said to have freed The Rogtons from the sinful primitives they once were and lifted them up from their basic urges. While The Rogtons in the modern age encourage other races to follow The Self Improvement side of Quo, they openly dislike and consider it offensive if individuals from other races practice celebrations related to Quo. Unfortunately there isn’t a solid reason for this intense hatred towards other races in Quo, however the widely accepted theory is that because Hapoetai is The Rogtons personal saviour, they see other races worship of her as false and disingenuous.
Different Types of Rogtons:
The Marked Ones- are Rogtons that have completely lost their faith and have decided to abandon “Quo”. The reason for them losing their faith can range from the deeply personal, extremely manipulative and even by means that they themselves are unable to control. The moment a Rogton loses their faith and belief in Quo, a symbol called “The Mark of The Beast” is painfully burned somewhere on their body usually on their snout, arm or chest. Interestingly The Mark of The Beast doesn’t have any adverse affects on The Rogton apart from identifying The Marked Ones to other Rogtons.
The Sacred Chosen- are Rogtons believed to have been bless by Hapoetai, The Vanguard of Needless Mistakes upon their birth, this is because they are born with metallic white fur, golden glistening eyes and a perfect physical form. Within Rogton society, The Sacred Chosen are widely respected, admired and sought after due to their supposed blessing by The Rogton’s savior. Additionally most Sacred Chosen often grow up to be above average warriors and massive in sizes which gains them great respect within The Rogton community.
