Leshies

Information: 

Leshies or as some call them “The Children of The Forest” are extremely wise and power beasts that watch over the forest they were born in, like all Naturals they seek to protect nature, however where Leshies differ is their intelligence as instead of protecting nature through violence Leshies use their intelligence to find a more peace way to stop an attack on nature. 

Interestingly all Leshies have a unique relationship with wildlife within their forest as they are able to command them as well as enhance them covering them in a bark like armour to protect them from attacks, the relationship with the wildlife usually only extends to basic creatures like Wolves, Bears and Birds, however some of the more powerful Leshies are able to command all kinds of wildlife from all over the galaxy from Pinky-Dinks to even Hounds. 

Owing to their intelligence, Leshies are known for locating lost individuals within a forest and accompanying them out of it, many claim while guiding them out a Leshy will make conversation with an individual, the conversation depends on what kind of Leshy you encounter, however many claim that if you are respectful and honest throughout the conversation The Leshy will be appear in your darkness moments as an “Angel on your shoulder” for lack of a better explanation.

Different Leshies:

A Crossroad Leshy- is a type of of Leshy that is rarer than most other types and for good reason, it is said that A Crossroad Leshy appears to those who talk to people who are lost, depressed or suicidal, while guiding the person out, The Leshy will focus the conversation on the person as they ask them about what they are feeling and why they are feeling such things, at the end of the conversation A Crossroad Leshy will offer to show the person a “Possible” future, if the person takes the offer they will find themselves awake in their bed after they have seen the vision, if they do not take the offer The Leshy will bid the person farewell and leave them to do what they came there to do. 

A Trickster Leshy- is a type of Leshy that is probably one of the most common, one of the famous pranks A Trickster Leshy will play is mimicking the voices of those familiar to the person who is lost, from here they will take a familiar form and begin confusing and sometimes scarring the lost individual, eventually though even a Trickster becomes bored and The Leshy will eventually offer to lead the person out of the forest. 

A Hellfire Leshy- is a type of Leshy that is extremely rare and many have never even seen one up close, the basic knowledge of this Leshy is that it is the reformed spirit of a dead leshy, many legends claim that A Hellfire Leshy have clawed their way out of “Hell” and have come back seeking vengeance on the parent that allowed it to die, in terms of appearance A Hellfire Leshy appears to be consumed by a darkened purple flame all over their body, in addition This Leshy has somehow grown wings and an organic tail accompanied with a sharp and deadly spike at its end.
