The Followers of The Flames

Information:

The Followers of The Flames are a collection of religions and cults that worship one of The Flames of Creation.

Belief in The Followers of The Flames goes as follows. In the beginning there was one flame known as "The One Flame", it lit up the universe with light and protected all from darkness and cold, however many of those it protected became Corrupted by The Darkened Cold and sought to kill The One Flame, instead of dying, The One Flame split into multiple chunks with each flame hold a different power within it.

The Flames:

The Light Flame- is the flame of Purity and is the most powerful of all the flames, or at least some claim it to be. Those who worship The Light Flame are called “Light Guardians” and they have the ability to wield the power of The Light Flame to dispense the will of The Light Flame. 

The Dark Flame- is the flame of Corruption and it’s worship has been either purged or banned across the galaxy. Those who worship The Dark Flame usually don’t do so willingly, at first The Dark Flame whispers and convinces a person to begin worshiping it, but when a person performs a ritual whisper by the flame, The Dark Flame will take over their body and they mind will be destroyed by its power.

The Chaos Flame- is the flame of Destruction and madness and it’s worship is mostly kept a secret around the galaxy. The Chaos Flame seeks out those who have broken minds, twist desires and completely disgusting obsessions, the flame recruits them into its “Bond of Chaos”  and gives them extreme power in order to transcend their form so they can cause true chaos.

The Order Flame- is the flame of Order and Protection and is the foundation for the organization known as “The Order of Saint Daniel”. The flame is said to infuse a new mind set upon those who allow it to consume their mortal bodies, this mind set allows them to feel no pain or feel anything apart from a desire to bring peace to the galaxy, although the idea of “Peace” has been tainted over thousands of years due to the mortal sin of hatred.

The Insightful Flame- is the flame of Knowledge and Insanity and it’s worship is a heavily guarded secret by “Those In The Mountains”. It is believed that if an unworthy individual glances at The Insightful Flame they are driven completely or irreversibly insane, on the other hand when a worthy individual looks upon the flame they are said to become part of the flame and guide their fellow mortals with an invisible hand.
