The Society of Ancients

The Society of Ancients is a religious organisation that worships and is devoted to The Ancient Dragons, or what’s left of them. The Organisation hails from the planet “Dragon’s Blood” and they mainly keep their operations within the planet, however there have been various groups of The Society of Ancients constructing bases around locations of interests, such as Dragon ruins and even Dragon burial sites.

To become a member of The Society of Ancients an individual must undergo “The Cleansing Ritual”, said ritual involves, burning, purging and otherwise removing as much mortal “Essence” as possible. Once the ritual is complete and “The Dragon Heirs” are satisfied, the administration of “The Holy Dragon’s Blood” will begin and the individual will be healed, in addition through The Holy Dragon’s Blood an individual may gain certain traits of a Dragon like fire breath, scaled skin and even dragon sight.

It is important to note that The Society of Ancients have a strong distaste for “The Dragon Earls” that spawned hundreds of years after “The Great Dragon Extinction”, many within The Society go as for to claimed that “Earls, they no not what it is to be a Dragon, to hold all that power, yet to use but a piece”.
