The Octush
The Octush were once the most advanced, but also the most problematic race in the galaxy, and while they have aided the galaxy in many different ways, their sins heavily outweighed their virtues.
Information:
Long before any of the second age races even developed language, The Octush had already developed amazing technology, colonised their entire star system and were in the early stages of expanding their reach across the galaxy. They built weapons of untold levels of destruction, built ships that ran off the power of the universe itself, and they were even known to utilise magic in the form of rituals, spells and scrolls whenever it was necessary. Despite their superior intelligence and open mindedness, The Octush were, and still are, considered to be the most xenophobic race in the galaxy often seeing other races as “pathetically primitive”, however they still allied themselves and identified as a second age race, maybe they chose the better of two options, or maybe they had something else in mind?
In terms of appearance, The Octush were long slender beings that reach around 11-12ft in height. Their skin is a grey metallic colour and notably resistant to laser fire, this is because of a custom made genetic mutation created by The octush to protect their bodies against disease, physical injuries and ranged attacks. Their hands have 3 fingers which are located towards the end of the hands and 2 thumbs located towards the wrist, in addition all Octush had their legs removed at birth in order to facilitate a much more efficient way of travel. Additionally all Octush wore a light weight powered exo-suit which acted as a life support machine that could produce essential liquids, an armoured suit that could repel basic attacks, as well as a form of movement as a small hover device was located where the legs had been removed.
