The Shen

The Shen are a one of a kind race created through means that aren’t well understood by themselves or others, but there is more to The Shen then their organically composed technology and extremely controversial “Bio-Tech”.

Information:

The Shen are a unique “one of a kind” race in the galaxy to the point where their planet, their science and even their physical forms are reversed to what would be called “Normal”. Instead of organic biological flesh, The Shen are composed out of some kind of organic and metallic technology similar to our “regular” constructed technology, in addition some possess artificial lights, some have different types of laser weaponry, and others even possess jet engines. It isn’t known how or why this relatively bizarre evolution occurred, however a common theory is that The Shen’s planet of “Allspark” is made up of ancient star ships that were caught up in an “Accretion” process, but unfortunately the only explanation for The Shen themselves is currently “life finds a way”.

In terms of appearance, The Shen stand at around 10-14ft tall and are usually bipedal. Their skin is made up of an organically made metal appropriately named “Shenium” which seems to have similar traits to iron, deusium and titanium, in addition Shenium is able to be partially affected by magic based attacks, but it has the strength to withstand a large amount of weapon fire. Additionally all Shen are able to modify their bodies with “regular technology” by adding weapons, devices, tools and other things their body didn’t or couldn’t grow, and they are also able to cosmetically change their appearances by adding decals, extensions and other such things.

Without a doubt The Shen are most famous for aiding The Octush in designing, creating and developing The Dwoverians for The Collective, however contrary to popular belief The Shen were only responsible for creating the advanced outer shell and weren’t involved in the development of The Dwoverians advanced A.I programs. While they aided in the genocidal destruction of The Octush, The Shen were never seen the same again during The Collective age.

In the modern age The Shen are a proud member of The Unity Council and a well respected member of the galactic community, in addition they are the leading race in cybernetic implants and augmentation development after the collapse of many cybernetic corporations during The Administration Age.
